I have an opinion. I have been following this story for the last little while but never actually watched the whole video until now. It is far funnier than I thought it was. If you ask me, in this video he is acting like a man who was already fired just waiting for the announcement and his severance package. He was a temporary hire. Basically a scapegoat for the government. Who is to blame for the mess AHS is in? Dr. Stephen Duckett. Forget the government who hired him and sets the budget.
His firing has made the news here in Australia. He is from Melbourne and quite well known in a lot of areas. He has held some big positions here.
Let's just hope this is the turn around point for AHS. There is a lot of work to be done. And let's hope the next CEO is a little bit more respectful towards nurses.
Cookies. Wow. New tactic for avoiding media questions.
ReplyDeleteI just showed this to my husband. He told me this... "He was fired today as the CEO of the health board for doing this."
Oops! Hope those cookies were REALLY worth it. ; D
