The invitations story

Laura asked to update the story to talk about the invitations. It was a Monday I believe that I was going to go to Staples and get the invitations done. I had the corel draw file that was sent to me from Ryan, our photographer. After school, I rushed home so that I could get started and I found out that Staples was closed!!! They don't open late on Mondays. So I was a little discouraged and Meaghann offered to take the file to Staples for me. So she did and the file I think was corrupt so I think they used the pdf to photcopy the invitations. They looked terrible so they gave them to us for free. That's 300. The second round, Meg's dad helped us out with remodeling the invitation. It looked pretty good but the address seemed to be missing from the reception so that's another 300. When I saw them, they didn't look too bad but I knew they could look a little better. A little stressed about it, and Meg was stressed a little too, I decided to take the image and the proof to a placed called DigiPower in Okotoks. When I explained to them the situation, they were sympathetic and offered to help. The corel draw file was corrupt so they couldn't open it. They looked at the proof and offered to redo the whole thing. That was soooo nice!! They called me in a half hour and showed me a proof, in fact 4 of them on different paper. they all looked so good! but I did pick out the birch paper. They asked when I needed it and I said, "as soon as possible" It was about 4:00 at the time. They said come back in half hour. So I came back and they had them all shrink-wrapped and cut. They were so good to us!!! I'm grateful to them.. And the result is,....the invitations look beautiful...almost as beautiful as Meg... :)
